#HDfeatured Introducing 54 PRANGAN, Indore Marriott Hotel which stands true to its name as Prangan in Hindi means courtyard. This place takes you back in the time where the courtyard was a major part of Indian family homes.
54 Prangan has a delightful ambiance with open to sky seating in a garden, moreover, it has a small water body you could sit beside! The seating arrangement is comfortable and spacious.
We started our meal time with a refreshing mocktail “Paan Maharani” infused with lime and rose water served with a beetle leaf to enhance its flavor. Inspired by the Paan & Beedas of the Awadh culture, this drink was just up to the mark!
The entrants served to us were inspired from different parts of India like Awadh, Punjab & Kashmir. We had Anari Paneer, Pathori Bharwa Aaloo, Tandoori Ananas, Radoli Machli Tikka, Galoti Kebab, Pyaaz Mutton Seekh, Matar Shami Kebab. Our Favorites were- Pathori Bharwa Aaloo which was stuffed with mawa and nuts. From the non-veg serving, we loved ” The Galouti Kebab” which really melted in our mouth.
In between the starter and the main course we tried a Tequila based cocktail with Guava juice rimmed with chili &salt. It was absolutely chatpata and quenching!
For the main course, we were served with Paneer Tikka Lababdar, Mutter Mashroom Makhana, Dal Mughlai, Nalli Gosht Nihari & MurghTikka Masala. Our Favourites were Paneer Tikka Lababdar with the hand-rolled accompaniments in bread basket. Dal Mughlai had chunks of garlic, it tasted perfect with Jeera Pulao. From the mansahari section of the menu, we relished the perfectly cooked Nalli Gosht Nihari made in khade masale with Bakarkhani Kashmiri Roti just like from the khaansamo ke zamane and Dum gosht Biryani cooked to perfection.
To give our meal a conclusion we had the KaalaJam & Kesar Pista Rasmalai . We recommend the Kaala Jam which was huge & warm stuffed with strands of saffron and pistachios, perfect to be had on a rainy eve!
Overall, 54 Prangan is a place for the connoisseurs who love premium fine dining experience!
