- Major Investment, Major Development. More than 750 acres of land has been selected for smart city development with an estimated 5099 crores of investment on the same. Apart from this, the city has got a permission to make around 23000 residences from the central. To keep drainage and water system in Indore top notch, an additional investment of 850 crores rupees will be made to change the system completely, where it is needed to ensure proper water supply and drainage. In areas where the electrical lines are dangerously swinging from roofs and polls, government is going to invest around 431 crores to make sure all of them goes underground and there are no loose electrical wires hanging in the lanes. Last but not the least, more than 2000 crore rupees will be invested on housing for all project as well.
- In the smart city drive, Indore came at 11th number in the total 20 cities that were selected in India.
- Indore has got many public toilets recently to curb down the nuisance of people peeing on roadside.
- The entire area in front of Zoo was cleared and now there is ample parking space for free there.
- Gandhi hall, one of the most prominent and historic buildings of Indore, will get a complete makeover in the coming month.

- Old bridges of Indore namely in the areas – ChandraBhaga, Haathipala, and Champabagh will be renovated soon.
- Majority of the gardens in the city will be renovated and there are many new planned as well.
- Nagar Nigam of Indore has appointed 28 young architects to make sure Indore gets a completely new renovated face where it is needed.
