The ever awaited International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2020 will be held in Bhopal and Indore in March in association with the MP government.
Instituted in 2000, the ceremony is held in different countries around the world every year. IIFA Awards are a set of awards presented annually by International Indian Film Academy to honor both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Bollywood, the Hindi language film industry. Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has given approval to the proposal of holding IIFA Award-2020 function in Madhya Pradesh.
This event will certainly bring Madhya Pradesh in the light in the entire world as the first Award function was held in London and the connection of legendary superstar Shri Amitabh Bachan will indeed be a matter of pride for the state.
Apart from this, the Award function will be telecasted in 90 countries of the world with an expenditure of Rs 700 crore.
Furthermore, under the skill development, the talents of the state will get employment opportunities in sound, light, film photography and visual effect fields, etc. This event will not only give a boost to tourism and films in the state but will prove to be a milestone in creating employment.
