In the lieu of the same, CM Nath and four ministers of his cabinet recently launched the ‘e-Sawari scheme’ of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC). As a part of this, they handed keys of 100 electric auto-rickshaws to women drivers. In Madhya Pradesh, the authorities are trying to whittle the risk which women face by ensuring their safety and at the same time, special attention is being paid to strengthen women financially. On the occasion, the CM was seen addressing the media citing that they want women to become self-dependent and earn their livelihood.

If people question that the scheme for women will create unemployment for men and to address the problem, the CM said that the government wants to empower women in their state and will generate new employment for some of those whose employment gets affected by the same.

Furthermore, he also said that he had not made announcement to launch this scheme (e-Sawari) as he doesn’t believe in making announcements like previous government, who have now started criticizing just for politics, adding that he is not afraid of any criticism and don’t even want their (the opposition’s) certificate.
