5 Off Beat Ideas to Greet New Year’s First Morning

5 Off Beat Idea to Greet New Year’s First Morning - IndoreHD

On the morning of the 31st December, I was sipping hot coffee and checking out on the internet what’s happening in town on the last day of the year, and found a lot of tempting options to party. But don’t you wonder at times, that is it the only way to celebrate your new year? Another interestingly peculiar fact came across my mind, that we Indians, consider our day to start after sunrise and some people have adopted the western culture of celebrating the New Year at midnight. Keeping this in mind, we came up with a list of 5 amazing things you can do to bring a change in the stereo type New Year.

1. Strap on your bag packs and getaway!

Hang a map on the wall, blindfold yourself, throw a dart on the map, and get away to the place the dart chooses for you. Spend the New Year at a different backdrop. Start your New Year with an adventure and you will carry forward its energy throughout the year.

2. Celebrate with the poor

Ever thought of feeding the hungry or donating clothes on the needy? We all have, but some people usually procrastinate when it comes to philanthropy. So on this 1st of Jan, why not spread a smile? Not necessary financially, but one may consider volunteering for a good cause!

3. Experience the vibes of other religions.

In our Indian culture, it is believed that if you start something new and special with the blessings of the holy power, you achieve success in it. It is also believed that there is only one God, so this year, why not bow your head at the place of worship of other religions too?

4. Witness the first sunrise of the year.

Wake up a little early on this 1st of Jan and enjoy the first sunrise of the year. Don’t you think it would be something different and beautiful?

5. Celebrate it the Indori Way!

If you still feel that it is too late plan something, then just grab a plate of Poha Jalebi at Chappan, because it is never too late to celebrate any morning the Indori way!
