India’s deal with AstraZeneca vaccine

Under the deal, 500 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine are going to be delivered to India. The same number of doses have been booked with AstraZeneca from the US.
Apart from India and the United States, there have been about 40 million orders for the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine from many other European countries.
Novavax has also developed Covid-19 vaccine. India has ordered one billion doses under the deal with it.
Eutectic V Vaccine
India has made a deal for 100 million doses of Russian Corona Vaccine Sputnik V. Let us know that the last trial of this vaccine is going on in India. Sputnik V has entered into an agreement with Hyderabad’s Dr Reddy for a trial. On August 11, Russia claimed to have developed this vaccine, but so far no country other than India has placed orders for it. Gamalaya Institute of Russia has developed Sputnik V vaccine.
Apart from this, India has not yet placed any orders for vaccine-developing companies Sanofi-GSK, Pfizer-BioNotech and Moderna. Vaccine of companies will have to be approved globally before the vaccine is supplied. Only then it will be supplied.
