He has predominantly worked in South Indian movies so far, but Dulquer Salmaan gave a promising performance in Bollywood’s Karwaaan alongside Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. It is a story of three extremely different people coming together due to a mix-up and an untimely death. With Irrfan Khan’s perfectly timed comic bursts, Karwaaan is definitely a feel-good film. One that is deeper than the bickering, humour and chaos we see in this film. If not anything, watch it for the lovely shots of South India, since we can’t really travel.

The plot follows Qureshi as Shalini in her quest to find her missing daughter, Leila. The series starts off on a great note and holds your attention but falls flat towards the end. It’s still worth the binge if you’re a Qureshi fan.
