Preparations for the Coronavirus vaccination campaign are in full swing in the country. The government plans to approve the use of the vaccine. About 96 thousand workers have been trained for the Covid vaccination program.
To protect against corona infection, who will get the vaccine, where it will be used and at what time the vaccination center will be given door-to-door information. ANM, Asha Worker and Anganwadi workers will go door-to-door to the pre-determined people and deliver the slip like a voter slip. It will contain complete information including the name of the vaccine.
Preparations for vaccination to protect against corona virus are going on a war footing in the state. A list of beneficiaries for safe immunization is being made. First of all, a thousand vaccination centers are being built to vaccinate health workers.
About two thousand centers are being arranged for frontline workers and three thousand centers for vaccinating people above 50 years of age. The data for vaccination is being recorded on computer at the block level. In this, the name, age, address, mobile number of the beneficiary will be entered. On this basis, they will be informed about door-to-door vaccinations. For this, the data of the survey conducted in the Corona period will be used.
Significantly, the central government had chosen four states of the country for the dry run. This included Punjab, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Assam. Dry Run rehearsals were conducted at seven main centers in Ludhiana. These included Civil Hospital Ludhiana, DMC Hospital, Raikot, Jagranwa, Machhiwara, Khanna and Payal Sub Divisions. The district administration started the dry run on Sunday.
Vaccination rehearsals were to be held at seven centers in Ludhiana. On Monday, the administration took the Kovid vaccine to the center. Registered beneficiaries were SMSed and asked to come to the center. 25 beneficiaries were called at each center.
On Tuesday, the 5 officers whose team was assigned the job of vaccine were given the post of Vaccination Officer. The name of the first vaccination officer and the vaccine was matched to the list. The second vaccination officer verified it through the Covid app. The third officer was the doctor who applied the vaccine. The fourth and fifth officers were given the responsibility of managing the crowd and monitoring the vaccine for 30 minutes.
DC Varinder Sharma said that the dry run was a complete success. Whenever the vaccine comes, in the first phase, this vaccine will be given to 30 thousand health workers of Ludhiana including others. After this, this vaccine will be given to people above 50 years of age along with Anganwadi workers.
