Dry run of Corona vaccination begun across 736 districts in 33 states, vaccination to begin in the next few days

Today, the second phase of dry run of Corona vaccination is going on in 736 districts of 33 states of the country. The purpose of this dry run is to gauge any problems that might occur during the vaccination phase. Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan is on a visit to Tamil Nadu today to take stock of the dry run. He has said that in the next few days we will be able to begin vaccination across the country.

How is dry run going?

The process of dry run involves four steps apart from vaccination. These include

1. Beneficiary (people who want to be given a dummy vaccine),

2. Details of the place where the vaccine is to be given,

3. Verification of documents on the spot and

4. Uploading of mock drill and reporting information on the vaccine is.

The dummy vaccine is being given to those involved in the dry run list. During this time, necessary arrangements are being reviewed to start vaccination.

Three rooms have been built at each center. The first room for waiting. In this, the demo of the complete information of the health worker is being matched. The vaccine is being given in another room. The vaccine is being kept in the third room for 30 minutes. So that he can be given treatment in case of any problem.

The first dry run took place on 2 January

Last week, there was a first phase dry run at 285 centers in 125 districts. This rehearsal went well in most states. Flaws were also found in some places. 5 deficiencies were detected in Bhopal.

1. The information manual had to be given to enter the vaccination information on the portal.
2. Many health workers did not reach with the registered mobile number. In such a situation, they could not show the SMS that came after the vaccine.
3. Lack of space in the observation room.
4. Due to the cold, many people came wearing sweater jackets and full sleeved clothes, which delayed vaccination.
5. Social distancing did not appear during the vaccine.
