On being asked about how she feels about being the richest woman under the age of 40, Devita Saraf says – It is really nice to be India’s richest self-made woman. Ever since the list has come out, congratulations are constantly coming from India and around the world. However, I feel a sense of responsibility because there are so many amazing Indian women entrepreneurs who, if given a chance, will give a tough fight to everyone. Additionally, the most important part of joining the list is that we are probably the only company in that list that is not only run by women but also profitable.

Currently, we are the premium TV brand apart from Sony and Samsung only. This is a particularly notable competition that we have seen coming from China, etc., which we have given a good run for their money in the Indian market. This shows the strength of Indian entrepreneurship.

Certainly on the personal side of the fact that I am a 100 percent share of this business, it gives me a lot of power and freedom, just the way I want it. Additionally, I’ve also bought a house for myself, which I think is a great thing because again, for me, it’s always about breaking the stereotypes, about changing the game and if you’re really hard If you work hard and compete with yourself, no one can compete with you.

She further adds – My vision is to make Vu Group a company that focuses on the new era, be it technology or other products, I have not decided yet. It is not always about time but about staying ahead of time and making frequent adjustments with a new, small and developed customer. And of course, most importantly being profitable and above all happy with your success.
