If anything, the system has made their work easier and in order to woo investors, all new industrial land parcels and undeveloped land in the state will be Geographic Information System (GIS) mapped.

GIS mapping will help in providing real-time information related to location, size, nearby areas to the land, waterline, electricity line and Inland Container Depo among others to the investors in a single glance.

The underlying process for the same will commence from new fiscal in which all underdeveloped land pool and new land parcels will be geo-mapped. The process will be done in various phases which will ensure that investors get hassle-free business environment.

Madhya Pradesh has 80 industrial parks under MPIDC and has a land pool of 1.40 lakh acre at 150 places spread in different areas.

Under this plan, five industrial parks under Madhya Pradesh Industry Development Corporation (MPIDC) which includes Smart Industrial Park in Indore region, Babai in Hoshangabad and a land parcel in Rajgarh have already been brought on the GIS platform whilst the second phase will witness a bunch of 11 industrial parks getting geo-mapped.

The recent developments in Indore have surely paved a road to better investment options for those interested. It is great to see how Indore’s graph is moving up day by day. No just the authorities but the citizens have an equal role to play in its exceptional growth, and we couldn’t have been more proud.
