    ‘Namaste Orchha’, A Three-Day Cultural Fest With Top Artists & Activities Begins Today!

    Wondering what to do on the weekend? Take a trip to M.P’s Orchha and witness a confluence of culture, food, performances by top musicians, and a lot of other activities. A three-day tourism festival organized by Madhya Pradesh’s Tourism board in unison with a private agency, ‘Namaste Orchha’ is set to be a visual treat for culture lovers.

    The festival will commence today (March 6) and end on March 8, 2020.

    The three-day event is going to be all about music, dance, heritage tours, great local cuisine, handicrafts, and workshops. The Orchha fort complex is a beautifully set up space for the festival. All the activities will be led by industry experts, with a bevy of participants aiding crowd engagement. As per popular sources, a grand maha aarti on the banks of river Betwa will be performed during the event.

    To add to the charm of the cultural fest, top vocal artist and veteran singer Shubha Mudgal, lyricist Swanand Kirkire, singer Shilpa Rao, composer Clinton Cerejo, actor Manoj Bajpayee will be seen engaging the guests during the festival. Considering how Madhya Pradesh has been on a roll recently, cultural festivals like these are only an add-on to the great legacy that M.P has.     A festival like this is the department’s first. M.P in itself attracts a lot of tourists, both local and otherwise.
