All the activities will be led by industry experts, with a bevy of participants aiding crowd engagement. As per popular sources, a grand maha aarti on the banks of river Betwa will be performed during the event.
Did you know Orchha is considered a part of the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) Tour which covers famous temples in the country?
To add to the charm of the cultural fest, top vocal artist and veteran singer Shubha Mudgal, lyricist Swanand Kirkire, singer Shilpa Rao, composer Clinton Cerejo, actor Manoj Bajpayee will be seen engaging the guests during the festival. Considering how Madhya Pradesh has been on a roll recently, cultural festivals like these are only an add-on to the great legacy that M.P has. From its cuisine to its local art and the lives of locals, there is so much to explore.
You can Kayak through the Betwa river and also take a hot balloon ride during the festival.
Indore’s famous Sarafa is also set to be re-created at the festival. Visitors and participants can gorge on local Indori street food and enjoy the Malwa cuisine. There will be special tours to cover almost ten famous tourist spots in the state.
A festival like this is the department’s first. M.P in itself attracts a lot of tourists, both local and otherwise. With Orchha hosting around a lakh visitors every year, a festival like this might just be a start to several others happening over time.
