    Central Museum

    Anyone who loves exploring the history, Central museum is a great way to explore Indore’s historic heritage. The museum is known to have some of the finest remains of the Parmar sculptures. The main features of these sculptures cover stone depictions and proportioned figures. One can also find pre-medieval & medieval Jain & Hindu sculptures in Madhya Pradesh.

    Patalpani Waterfalls

    One of the very popular travel destinations near Indore is the Patalpani waterfalls. A lot of travelers from Indore prefer to go to Patalpani during the rains.

    Kanch Mandir

    This temple in Indore is one of a kind and is popular for its detailed architecture and mirror and glass work adorning the insides. Built-in the 20th century by Hukumchand Seth, this temple is a sacred destination for the Jain community. The kanch temple stands tall in the Rajwada area of Indore with its aesthetic appeal, glass chandeliers & Chinese style lanterns.

    Krishnapura Chhatris

    Lined near the banks of the Khan river, Krishnapuri Chhatris are cenotaphs that define the Maratha architectural style. The dome-shaped chhatris constructed in the memory of Holkar rulers during the late 1800s are a total of 3 chhatris. The first one is dedicated to Maharani Holkar and the remaining two were built as a tribute to Maharaja Tukoji Rao Holkar II and Shivaji.

    Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary

    Known to be one of the oldest sanctuaries in MP, the Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary houses several varieties of animals and birds. Don’t miss out on exploring this sanctuary if you happen to be a nature lover. Rich biodiversity makes this an ideal place to explore.

    Lotus Lake, Gulawat

    Gulawat is 25 km from Indore and can be easily reached by road. A self-forested area, it is surrounded by eucalyptus and bamboo trees, this huge forest has water coming in from the Yashwant Sagar dam. With a beautiful backdrop of lotuses, the valley, and places around it with a heavy green belt are amazing locations to travel to for getting yourself clicked, and to enjoy some time in nature.

    Distance: 17 Km from Indore airport.
    Location: Gurda Khedi, Gulawat, Madhya Pradesh.
