BAJA SAE INDIA 2015-Indore

BAJA is an inter-collegiate event organized by SAE to provide SAE student members with a challenging project that involves design, engineering, planning, manufacturing, marketing and racing an All Terrain Vehicle. Each team’s goal is to design and build a prototype of a rugged single seat, off-road recreational four-wheel vehicle intended for sale to the non-professional, weekend off-road enthusiast. The competition goals include that the vehicle must be safe, easily maintained and fun to drive. It should be able to negotiate rough terrain in all types of weather without damage.Provide Indian students with a standard platform to showcase their talent and potential not only in terms of design and engineering, but also their capability for team-work, entrepreneurial skills and management.

SAEINDIA has been organizing BAJA SAEINDIA, an annual student competition of All Terrain Vehicles designed, manufactured & tested by Engg. Students from all over the India. BAJA SAEINDIA 2015 (8th Edition)event will be held at NATRAX Facility of NATRIP at Village Aasukhedi, near Pithampur (55 kms from Indore). BAJA 2015 event will be attended by appx. 3000 students from across India, apart from senior Govt. officials, political leaders and dignitaries from Automobile Industries & Media.

Total teams participating in BAJA SAE India 2015 are 120 and 3000 Students are participating in it.All the teams  have to perform their talents by passing the  following test :Endurance Test, Acceleration Test and Power Test.
