IIM Indore Marathon 2014:"RUN FOR THE HOMELESS"-Indore

The Indore Marathon is the annual mega sporting event conducted by IIM Indore. It always associates itself with pivotal social issues to spread awareness and contribute towards making a difference. In continuance with the noble cause, this year we run to focus on the plight of the homeless and aspire to alleviate their condition. With the support of over 4000 participants every year, the marathon is a high spirited, sporty, healthy, hearty, rewarding and a fun filled experience.Every year, IIM Indore conducts a marathon as part of its fest “IRIS” in order to spread awareness regarding a popular social agenda. “Run for the Homeless” is the theme for this year. A bevy of runners from all professions are taking to the streets together, which makes the 11km run from Dussehra Maidan, Indore to IIM Indore much more promising. A 3km dream run for the kids below 16 years of age provides them an opportunity to participate too.
